Welcome to the official website of Friends of Harmonie State Park! Harmonie State Park is located on the banks of the Wabash 25 miles northwest of Evansville Indiana and next to Historic New Harmony Indiana. It has a great campground, beautiful swimming pool, shady picnic areas, ravines and pristine landscapes. We hope you come visit sometime.
For those of you that call Harmonie State Park your second home, you know how special it is. Just like the newly elected board of Friends of Harmonie State Park, I am sure you have fond memories of time spent in the park. Whether it is camping and the Nature Center activities, or a picnic on the banks of the Wabash, or just coming down in the evening to look for deer. Whatever your reason, we hope you will join us in support of OUR park! If we all join together we can make it a park our kids and grandkids will use for years to come. We have a lot of great things planned for our group and are looking for supporters to make them happen!
We are excited about the things our group has accomplished in a few short months. We have elected a board, approved bylaws, raised over $2,000 in donations, set up a web site and worked with park management and the state legislature to get $25,000 in funds to improve playground safety. With your help, we can do much more.
