How you can help
Volunteering with the Friends of Harmonie State Park is a powerful way to give back to one of southwestern Indiana’s most beautiful natural spaces. As a volunteer, you help preserve scenic trails, support wildlife habitats, and enhance the visitor experience for thousands of park-goers each year. Your time and talents directly contribute to the park’s events, educational programs, and park up-keep - ensuring this treasured place remains vibrant, clean, and welcoming for current and future generations. It’s also a great way to connect with nature, meet-like minded people, and make a meaningful impact right in your own community.

Monarch Mania

Join us for a day devoted to Monarch Butterflies! Come to the Outdoor Education Pavilion and we'll dig into migration, metamorphosis and milkweed. We'll talk about gardening for butterflies and what we can do personally to aid the monarch butterfy to keep it off the endangered list. It's a fun day!
Gate fee applies $7 for Indiana plated vehicles, $9 for out-of-state vehicles, or use your Annual Pass!

Harvest Craft Fair

Our 14th annual Harvest Craft Fair brings you all things FALL! Wonderful crafters, woodworkers, jewelry-makers, candles, crochet, quilted and sewn items, plus all the yummy treats you can imagine! A day to enjoy Harmonie State Park, some nice weather and a huge 100+ vendor event in a beautiful setting. Free kids crafts to inspire and FREE bouncy houses! Come early, stay late and kick off the Fall season with us at Harmonie! 9 am - 4

Haunted Harmonie

The usual fun, games, shenanigans! Camp with us or come for the day for a scavenger hunt, Sasquatch stomp, trick or treating, pumpkin judging, campsite decorating, hay rides and dance party! How do we fit that all in one day? It's a party!
If you are not staying with us, plan to arrive a little early to ride the school bus shuttles back to the campground. Pack lightly!
